TWO WATERCOLOURS OF MADRID

Hi everyone!

 Last week I finished a pair of watercolors of subjects in Madrid and is now present in this blog. Two watercolors of two places are emblematic of Madrid as a view of the Gran Via and one from the Puerta del Sol On many occasions I have painted these issues but I draw little attention qeu and paint whenever you find new nuances that enrich my painting. Two watercolors are getting pretty light this effect by the shadow like the one shown in some buildings.

LANDSCAPE OF POPPIES

Today I share with you a new landscape oil painting I just finished a field of poppies in spring. Usually in this kind of landscapes in this time of year near my home and is a great opportunity to paint it.

TWO WATERCOLOURS OF CASTILE, SPAIN

Hi,
There are a couple of watercolors of two issues of Castile and Leon have just finished. This is the Place de Juan Bravo in Segovia where you can see in the center of the square the statue of Juan Bravo commoner who rose in 1521 against the troops of Emperor Charles V. The other watercolor is a panoramic view of the city of Zamora.

MOURO ISLAND, OIL PAINTING

Hi,

Today I introducing a new oil painting on the small island of Mouro located in Santander and well known by many locals as an island where the waves often impact on stormy days. In this painting I wanted to highlight just that, and despite the light that can be temporary shine sunlight on the sea foam.

WATERCOLOUR, MARINE IN SPAIN

The last week I’ve started a new series of seascapes about Galicia. I found a new type of paper that allows me to create different atmospheres in watercolor offering a different watercolor treatment and using gouache to highlight different details. The first was presented today in this blog and its a seascape of Galicia, a scene from the last storms to hit the Galician coast. The watercolor is the cliffs near Stake Point Bars.
