The light in the painting

 

Today introduce an oil painting of a scene really endearing. This is a picture of my daughter and my wife on the beach. The idea of the composition of the painting came to mind one day when my daughter started walking. The painting with a very high viewpoint without skyline is an impressionist painting where light is the protagonist.

A VIEW OF MOUNTAINS IN ASTURIAS, SPAIN. OIL ON CANVAS

Hi everyone!,

I had not painted anything of Asturias for a long time, so,  following Fito view where you can see a beautiful view at sunset. A light illuminates peaks late in the afternoon and green meadows are same illuminated so that light with a little yellow so characteristic of the sunsets. Hope you like it as much as I liked to paint.

WATERCOLOUR, MARINE IN SPAIN

The last week I’ve started a new series of seascapes about Galicia. I found a new type of paper that allows me to create different atmospheres in watercolor offering a different watercolor treatment and using gouache to highlight different details. The first was presented today in this blog and its a seascape of Galicia, a scene from the last storms to hit the Galician coast. The watercolor is the cliffs near Stake Point Bars.

LANDSCAPES OF MADRID, OIL ON PANEL

One of my favorite views of Madrid in honor of Aureliano Beruete painted both around Madrid..A Madrid from the afternoon is a spectacular light that illuminates the oldest buildings hill on which was built Madrid in its day and today is one of the few areas that remained unchanged.

The other one is a view of La Pedriza, one of the most important Regional Forest of Madrid. Its a view in winter season when mountains still have snow. I liked paint this view with special contrast and light.

LANDSCAPE OF THE ESTUARY IN SANTOÑA, SPAIN, OIL ON PANEL

I just finished a new landscape of estuary in  Santoña, (Spain). This is a sunset, the sun shines and the clouds can barely look at the landscape. First you can see a bird on a trail of water back-to indicate their profile. In the background the mountains blend with the low clouds.

DAWN IN THE MOOR, OIL ON CANVAS

I just finished a small box format on an evening in a Castilian moor. This is a view from a wheat field when it is too little light and everything becomes a little more brown, the colors fade but is still some light and the moon makes an appearance in the sky.

A SUMMER DAY, OIL ON PANEL

One summer day when driving back home I noticed this picture. The poplar is a tree that I have always liked, so high and rocking slightly in the wind always seemed to me that was a tree which provided a certain melancholy elegance while the landscape, so I decided to stop and observe and take some notes become after painting.

Today I present a marine who just finished Aiguablava on the Costa Brava, Girona.

A nice place with a very light especial.En this picture I wanted to highlight the two types of atmospheres between what you see in the distance and what is in the foreground are trees.
