WATERCOLOUR, MARINE IN SPAIN

The last week I’ve started a new series of seascapes about Galicia. I found a new type of paper that allows me to create different atmospheres in watercolor offering a different watercolor treatment and using gouache to highlight different details. The first was presented today in this blog and its a seascape of Galicia, a scene from the last storms to hit the Galician coast. The watercolor is the cliffs near Stake Point Bars.

The size is 60x30 cm on canvas and the main element are the light and reflections on the sand of the sky and the cliffs next to this beautiful beaches.

THE OLD GUADARRAMA MOUNTAINS, MADRID, SPAIN

Hello,


Today I introduce a new work about Guadarrama mountains in Madrid. On the ground proximity go far along the paths that make up these old mountains that go back beyond the era glaciar.Me like to imagine at that time I now see the sights.
There is a beautiful view of the Valle de Lozoya near Miraflores which is where I have mmi painting studio and I wanted to paint this time. This is a view of the mountains give shelter to the valley of Lozoya and villages as Rascafría of Peñalara the highest peak of the Community of Madrid to the mountains near Carpetanos Somosierra. Across the plains of Segovia Spanish in the view we lost in the infinite horizon.

LANDSCAPES OF MADRID, OIL ON PANEL

One of my favorite views of Madrid in honor of Aureliano Beruete painted both around Madrid..A Madrid from the afternoon is a spectacular light that illuminates the oldest buildings hill on which was built Madrid in its day and today is one of the few areas that remained unchanged.

The other one is a view of La Pedriza, one of the most important Regional Forest of Madrid. Its a view in winter season when mountains still have snow. I liked paint this view with special contrast and light.

A COUPLE OF OIL PAINTINGS

Hi everybody!
Today I like to introduce a couple of oil paintings with a theme very Mediterranean. The first one its a scene with children on the edge of the beach playing, I liked the immediacy and movement of the scene and wanted to represent it in this way. Picture is a flat landscape of Mallorca, a region little known and yet often have genuine knowledge of the island.
Both paintings are painted on panel.

LANDSCAPE OF THE ESTUARY IN SANTOÑA, SPAIN, OIL ON PANEL

Hello!


I just finished a new landscape of estuary in  Santoña, (Spain). This is a sunset, the sun shines and the clouds can barely look at the landscape. First you can see a bird on a trail of water back-to indicate their profile. In the background the mountains blend with the low clouds.

SUNSET IN TEH BEACH, OIL ON CANVAS

Sunset is one of the times of day that I like.


Today I introduce an oil painting I just Langre beach when the sun casts its last rays reflects on the rocks of the beach.

This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Cantabria I recommend visiting.
