The light of the Mediterranean sea in two oil paintings

Different types of light are the protagonists of two oil paintings that I have recently painted.

The Malvarrosa beach and a Mediterranean seascapes

Recently I have painted two oil paintings of two themes that have sea and light as protagonists.

The light that I sometimes like to portray is that of the Mediterranean, since there are strong contrasts between the light of morning or Levante and that of the wonderful sunsets or Poniente.
Two oil paintings with very different lighting but with a style close to Impressionism very typical of the type of painting that I usually do.
The brushstroke in both is usually in different directions and very loose offering lightness and ease.

Two seascapes in watercolour

A couple of marines that I have painted in watercolor recently from the north of Spain.

Two seascapes with similar composition and technique.

I have recently been working on two watercolors of two seascapes off the coast of northern Spain. First under these lines a seascape on the coast of Ferrol.

In particular of Doñinos beach with a sea of weather.
What I was looking for was to capture the color of the sea and the movement that exists in each place.

In this way in the following watercolor of some part of the Cantabrian can be differentiated from the first in color.

The sea is more green with bluish touches on the horizon but it differs well from the Atlantic blue of the Galician coast of the first marina.
The intention I had was also to make both watercolors with equal dimensions and with a very similar composition.

For the waves I have used some white gouache that is something similar to the tempera to offer greater volume and texture and movement in the sea.
